Life is a precious symphony... full of richness & beauty, highs & lows...
Right now it is playing sorrow on the strings of my heart... CynthiaTom has left this world for another and better world. We all know he is now at peace and is happy. The tremendous outpouring of care from our family, friends, and community has been overwhelming. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We prayed for a miracle and for a healing. And I have to say that we got it, but not exactly in the way we envisioned. Tom told us that he wasn't afraid to die, that the "big guy" (Jesus Christ) would be there to receive him. He knew this. (please read Tom's beautiful story... the link is below... )
But another part of him didn't really want to leave this world. He didn't want to leave his wife, Cynthia, his daughter, Dece, and his family and friends. He had plans to create a new business; this would be the "T.J. Reckless" line of products, including barbecue sauce, beef jerky, Tabasco sauce, bath salts, and other things. He would market these products and sell them from the "Conastoga-Style" chuck wagon he built. He lived his last few months the way he always lived. He created, he gave of himself to everybody around him, and he grew spiritually. Tom truly loved people. He wanted everybody to be happy and enjoy themselves. We know he would want us to do that today; to celebrate Tom's full life and to celebrate each other.
For Tom... We Will Carry On...
With our most sincere thanks and wishes of peace,
love and God's Blessings to you...
